ACUTE IRRITATION TEST ON RECONSTRUCTED EPIDERMIS MODEL

The product is brought into contact with the in vitro reconstructed skin model for 60 minutes.  The irritation potential is determined through assessment of cell viability and level of lactate dehydrogenase release. Supplementary information is obtained through measurement of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1α. DermoXEN VITEXYL lubricant gel is NOT IRRITATING to skin.
